Here at VR Vision we rebuilt our Vision Portal from the ground up this year.
The old version did the basics: push content to headsets, track completions, pull reports. It worked. But enterprise clients kept running into the same wall.
The trainer couldn't see what the trainee was doing in real time. IT couldn't manage 200 headsets across 6 sites without losing their mind. And the analytics told you someone finished the module, but not whether they actually learned anything.
So we fixed all of it.
Vision Portal 2.0 gives trainers live visibility into every headset in the field. You can cast any session to a screen, annotate in real time, and intervene without pulling someone out of the simulation. For IT, fleet management is now handled through our ArborXR integration, meaning MDM, kiosk mode, and remote updates across every site from one dashboard.
The analytics got a full overhaul too. Instead of pass/fail completions, you're now tracking procedural accuracy, time-on-task, error patterns, and performance trends over time. The kind of data that lets you prove ROI to a CFO, not just check a compliance box.
Toronto Hydro was one of the first to deploy on 2.0. They cut procedural errors by 30%.
If you're evaluating enterprise VR training and the platform side feels like an afterthought from your vendor, it shouldn't be. The platform is where scale happens or doesn't.
