Happy 203rd Birthday to the Basilian Fathers! It was on this day in 1822 that the Ten Founders of the Basilian Congregation gathered in Annonay, France, and chose Fr. Joseph Lapierre as the first Superior General. Inspired by these 10 men, may God continue to bless the work that we do as a congregation!

As we celebrate the Feast of our Patron, Saint Basil the Great, we also give thanks to God for the Ordination of two of our brothers today in Colombia. May God bless Eduard and Osman as they are Ordained to the Priesthood today in Bogota!

We also pray that the Holy Spirit will guide more young men to discern vocations to the Priesthood and Religious Life.
