The Watchtower, our first album, is out of our hands just as the studio of which it took its namesake left too. It was only right to squeeze a project out of these broken parts and pieces that made up our beloved studio. From the idyllic vision of scientist/alchemist Oswald Croll, we tried to use the broken parts to make gold, the same ways these ghosts of the building attempted.

We found ourselves just where we were at - locked in The Watchtower. Away from life and reflecting on the few years gone by, we began with a few singles. Not wanting to limit the creative process, we let songs breathe and multiply into sibling songs until it was a EP - then LP - then double LP.

Producing this album was an amazing learning experience, proving we can make something with as little money, equipment and collaborators - this time round it made Max and I play many new instruments, reaching out our previous bass and guitar cages - that being said this project would be nothing without the amazing friends that came and lent some crazy evenings at sea with us to elevate our visions.

We must first give love to Luke Oldfield who mixed and mastered the album for us - for these tracks are raised to new heights from his influence.
