I'm going to take a moment to introduce myself, Salima Andany, the artist whose work you are viewing.
I have lived & worked on three
continents, drawing from the influences of home cities: London, New York, & Toronto. After a life-changing accident resulted in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Post Concussive Syndrome & Permanent Amnesia I learned photography as a means to document my life.
I believe Photography & visual expressive art acts as a vigil that holds all memory of my life & stories, Art enabled me to emotionally regulate & rejoin humanity. I am passionate about sharing my story & hearing the stories of everyone I meet on my journey.
How has Art has helped you in coping with trauma, disability, TBI & grief.
Please follow, share & comment.
