Frankie is as big in personality as he is in bravery!  He was diagnosed with an aggressive form of mast cell tumour, a form of skin cancer that is common in dogs.  Frankie’s tumour necessitated both surgery and chemotherapy.  Following both, Frankie was rewarded with the news that his cancer was in complete remission, and he got to celebrate by ringing the bell with his mom!   Congratulations Frankie!!

Going to the vet makes Athena nervous, as it does for so many patients. So, when Athena was diagnosed with lymphoma, her family had to consider how regularly Athena would be going to the hospital. The nursing staff in oncology did an amazing job of gaining Athena’s trust, but one trick that helped was Athena brought a friend to each one of her treatments (see pictures)! It worked, and together they got through treatment and got to celebrate with her family by ringing the bell in complete remission! Congratulations Athena!!

Hans is a sweet, gentle and well-mannered Manchester Terrier!  Diagnosed with lymphoma, Hans endured 6 months of chemotherapy with nary a side effect!  He quickly entered a complete remission where he remains today!  Hans got to celebrate this achievement by ringing the bell with his dad!  A huge congratulations to Hans and his family!!
