With 35% of Canadian retail investors relying on finfluencer recommendations, as reported by the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC), this highlights the critical need for transparency in financial promotions.

Just as you wouldn't take legal advice from an influencer, be cautious of finfluencers offering investment advice without understanding your unique circumstances, lacking proper licensing, and failing to disclose conflicts of interest.
