If you like food (ie. feta cheese + seafood), beaches, parties, boats, breathtaking views and a dash of history, this Greece trip is for youđŸ‡ŹđŸ‡·

đŸŒș Fly into Athens and spend a couple of days here. Most people leave immediately and I think that’s a huge mistake.
Things to do:
- Get custom sandals made
- Happy hour on a rooftop with a view of the Acropolis
- Climb Lucabettus Hill for panoramic views at sunset
- Get a frappe on the Plakka stairs

🐙Ferry to Milos - a chill island with a unique landscape (literally feels like you’re on the moon?!)
- Do a full day boat tour (someone bring a speaker and play the Mamma Mia soundtrack for elite vibes)
- Hang out and cliff jump at Sarakiniko Beach
- Go out for a seafood dinner

đŸȘ©Ferry to Ios - this is the place you go when you’re feeling young and fun and ready to lose some sleep. This is the wilder and more budget friendly alternative to Mykonos
- Spend a day at Far Out Beach Club
- Go out for a wild night (if you end at Sweet Irish Dream and it’s light outside on your walk home, you’ve done it right)
- Do a chill beach day

đŸïžFerry to Paros - this charming and relaxed island is what you need right now. It’s fairly quiet and charming with its whitewashed villages and beautiful beaches
- Explore the capital Parikia
- Rent a quad and explore the island
- Relax at the beach - there’s so many to choose from whether you’re looking for something more lively or remote. You can’t go wrong! Kolymbithres Beach is great for swimming and tanning, while Golden Beach is great if you like windsurfing

Ferry to Athens and fly home✈

Nara deer park in Japan - would you see it or skip it?

Gaudí’s work is iconic, instantly recognizable, and almost defines what Barcelona looks like. But with so many sites and timed entries, should you see it all or skip it?

Antoni Gaudí’s masterpieces are everywhere in the city, from the Sagrada FamĂlia (still incomplete lol), Park GĂŒell, Casa BatllĂł, La Pedrera — each one unlike anything else in the world. What I love most is how his style has become so iconic: whimsical yet architectural genius, organic yet grand. Every corner of Barcelona carries a piece of his imagination, and walking through it feels like stepping inside someone’s dreams.

We did a DIY version and booked some of the sites but it was logistically tough, you have to get timed entry and figure out how you’re getting across the city from one to the next so if I was doing it again I would do a guided tour. And then you get more information and context into what you’re actually seeing and the significance of it.

My tips:
-Do a guided tour — you get context, skip the stress of timing, and don’t have to juggle buses and tickets.
-Choose a tour that’s led by a local guide so your money stays local
-Wear comfortable shoes (it’s more walking than you think)
-Take photos and notes (I like writing things in my notes app to remember the details later because it’s a lot of info all at once)
