Canadian Housing Market
The value of real estate owned by households in Canada rose $1.5 trillion to $8.3 trillion in 2021, according to national balance sheet data released Friday by Statistics Canada
Much of the real estate activity has been driven by new mortgages, with the ratio of household credit market debt to income climbing to a record 186% to end 2021.

War can be expensive!
According to Brown University's Cost of War paper it is possible Russia could be spending approximately $400 million per day! Of course I took the largest spending year into consideration in my quick study to arrive at this number.
It could be more if the fees, fraudulent activities and other allocations in the operations are more for Russia than what was incurred by US 🤷🏽♂️
Sanctions could work if the expense of this war stays high, but the sanctions have to be more precise for it be effective IMO
