Whose getting excited for Spring?! So many listings to choose from and summer is around the corner.

The market is still extremely buyer-friendly, but things are getting interesting. Amongst the condo market, loads of listings in the GTA to off load, pre-construction homes are finishing development, influx of people renewing their mortgage at higher rates, yet battling lower rental rates. We might see more inventory pick up as a result, which will only mean more bargaining power for buyers.

Bank of Canada has not increased or lowered rates since October last year, so it allows the real estate market to show for itself.

The market is still leaning buyer-friendly, but I’m seeing a lot of good deals get snatched up.

While prices and sales down compared to last year, new listings are also dropping, meaning fewer homes are coming onto the market. Many buyers are still scouting good opportunities, which makes it an excellent time to buy without any competition.
