“Fear to Flames” ; a phrase that floated its way into my head years ago, and stuck with me ever since. This piece travelled with me to 3 different homes over the span of 4 years prior to its completion. I believe it represents every challenge that I’ve walked through in my journey to arriving to the NOW. In a deep blue sea of confusion, there was always a fire that continued to burn inside of me; it was merely being smothered by fear. It’s a reminder to embrace the journey, knowing undoubtedly that your time will come.
