Someone has reported this page for "misuse". So it may all be taken down. I am confused 😕
If this happens, Facebook may just not be the right place for my Writing Social Media Page ✌️ 🤷‍♀️

The day before my second brain surgery I wrote this poem called 'Fog' about my first surgery back in 2018 and how it left me feeling afterwards.
The following morning driving to Kingston we could barely see the road because of severe fog. I'll never stop trying to understand these coincidences and I'll never stop believing that there is something more to them 🙏 HAVE FAITH!

From my e-book Ashes & Roses-
Never Heard

Fighting a battle that I’ll never win.
I want to quit but I can’t give in.
None of it matters, all that I try…I keep going to often wonder why.

Like homework that your dog destroyed.
Like a plant that was watered to eventually die.
Like a perfect test with only one mistake.
Like you're a great swimmer but it’s a big lake.
Like there are tons of fish but not the right bait.
Like you’re in first place when your ankle breaks.

Is it Groundhog Day?
I’m stuck in one place.
Frozen in time.
That year.
That day.

I had been painting a picture invisible to the world.
It made sense to me but it came out blurred.

A song from a morning bird that never was heard

Such an inspiration- Maya Angelou

"Alone" by Maya Angelou

Lying, thinking
Last night
How to find my soul a home
Where water is not thirsty
And bread loaf is not stone
I came up with one thing
And I don’t believe I’m wrong
That nobody,
But nobody
Can make it out here alone.

Alone, all alone
Nobody, but nobody
Can make it out here alone.

There are some millionaires
With money they can’t use
Their wives run round like banshees
Their children sing the blues
They’ve got expensive doctors
To cure their hearts of stone.
But nobody
No, nobody
Can make it out here alone.

Alone, all alone
Nobody, but nobody
Can make it out here alone.

Now if you listen closely
I'll tell you what I know
Storm clouds are gathering
The wind is gonna blow
The race of man is suffering
And I can hear the moan,
'Cause nobody,
But nobody
Can make it out here alone.

Alone, all alone
Nobody, but nobody
Can make it out here alone.

Poetry 🩶

Cheryl, how were you so strong?
Where did you find that strength?
Did you have to search for it or did you have it all along?
Cheryl, were you ever just so scared? Did you ever not want to have to bare what was next to come?
I know it’s silly Cheryl but did you cry when you lost your hair? Did you mind when people would stare?
Did you cry at all? Over things both big and small?
Did you cry when they weren’t there? When they weren’t around…did you peak around the corner to be sure you would not be found?
I’m sure you were asked a lot when you were still here and if you were I would ask too “how did you do it?”
You went through this for so long.

Even if there is noone supporting.
Even when there is no following.
