In 2023, Denmark launched the world’s first plant-based action plan, supporting farmers and the food system, while improving public health, mitigating climate change and reducing reliance on factory farming. Canada can do the same.

A Plant-Based Strategy would help shift our food system toward something more humane, sustainable and resilient – reducing animal suffering while supporting our food sector and the environment.
