Spent the last little while diving deep into email development and re-working templates.

1) It started with building out an updated build system to allow SCSS / PostCSS to be written, complied and then inlined into the HTML template.

2) After that was working I started including the brands custom web fonts and responsive code in the head.

3) Then comes testing. I am using Litmus which allows you to preview the email in a number of different clients. This is critical and where most of the time is spent. Without a tool like this you can’t build working emails.

4) Hours and hours are spent making small adjustments to make them display correctly cross client.

Last photo shows the final result. Mac mail has the best support so it looks very good there. But it looks almost as good in different versions of Outlook.
