Earlier this week, I hosted a farewell luncheon for H.E. Josefina Martinez Gramuglia, Ambassador of Argentina to Canada and Dean of the Group of Latin American Heads of Mission, as she completes her tenure in Ottawa.

Ambassador Martinez Gramuglia made significant inroads on issues of shared priority between our countries, notably organizing bilateral consultations, engaging on the ongoing Canada-Mercosur free trade agreement negotiations, and facilitating bilateral meetings between our Ministers of trade, foreign affairs, and defence. Thank you for your service to the Canada-Argentina relationship.
