Rocking Vibe

I was working late in the studio as the sun was setting.

The light hit the shelves and the shadows from the plants moved with the wind. They kept shifting, almost dancing.

I stopped for a minute just to watch.

It stirred something in me. The sun setting and the day ending didn’t feel sad. It felt like a right of passage.
I had taken care of everything the day needed from me. Mom first, then back here, working into the evening. It felt like the right way to wind it down.

The day wasn’t perfect. It wasn’t anything special.
But it was lived.

The shadows are part of the day. They cast darkness, but they also remind you of the light. It’s a balance of both.
