“There’s thousands of other people at SickKids and it really means so much to me to represent all of those kids.”

Caleb is a funny, smiley, outgoing six-year-old who also happens to be this year’s Children's Miracle Network Canada Champion Child! 💫

At 15 days old, Caleb was placed on the liver transplant list after being diagnosed with Ornithine transcarbamylase (OTC) deficiency - a rare hereditary metabolic disorder that causes ammonia to build up in the blood.

Since his life-saving liver transplant in 2020, Caleb’s journey of strength and perseverance eventually brought him to Florida, where he proudly represented SickKids at the most recent Elevate event. 👏

Moments like these are made possible thanks to Walmart Canada, who have raised more than $243M for Children’s Miracle Network and over $45M for SickKids.

This May, Walmart customers can donate in-store or online, with 100% of proceeds going directly to your local children’s hospital. Every donation is helping support kids like Caleb when they need it most. 💙

“When I see my pictures at Walmart, it makes me feel proud and it makes people want to donate to SickKids. The Hospital can be a scary place for the patient and families and raising money can help the patients, siblings, and families grow stronger.”

Sloane lights up every room she walks into, without even trying. 🌟

This funny and empathetic eight-year-old’s SickKids journey started at the age of two when she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

After an intense two years of treatment, Sloane’s cancer relapsed.

Her care team at SickKids started the next phase of her treatment without hesitation - and shortly after, Sloane was approved to start lifesaving CAR T-cell therapy.

Today, Sloane is feeling great and back to living her best life, all while continuing her follow-up care with the team that has stood by her through every phase of her journey. ❤️‍🩹 💪

Since 2018, GTA Tech Leaders has raised more than $400K to support the Garron Family Cancer Centre at SickKids. This year thanks to their fundraisers, participants, and attendees, their Concert Series event raised over $80K.

Thank you for helping kids like Sloane get back to just being kids. 💙
