“E-mail is an “opener,” not a closer. Open it up first thing in the morning and you’re off on a dozen different tasks. Instead, close something from the day before. Finish something first before you open something new.”― Judith Kolberg

Having too many tabs open on your computer can be distracting and prevent true progress on tasks.

Leave only the tabs open that you need for one task at a time.

Finish one thing before you begin another.

Completely check your email, close it, and open it again later in the day.

*Judith Kolberg is a pioneer in the field of professional organizing as well as specifically dedicated to addressing the needs of individuals who are challenged by chronic disorganization.
