What happens when Black youth see careers not as distant dreams—but as real possibilities connected to people who look like them?
That is the vision behind Careers That Change Communities (CTCC) through the Afrotastic platform.
From teachers and guidance counselors to social workers and special education professionals, young people deserve early exposure to careers that shape communities and change lives.
We are currently developing engaging educational resources for Black History Month 2027 that:
✔ Introduce youth to high-impact careers early
✔ Provide adults with workforce and career pathway resources
✔ Connect community challenges to real-world professions
✔ Create long-term pipelines into careers—not just conversations
These resources will be distributed digitally across Canada through schools, educators, unions, organizations, and community networks.
We are currently seeking sponsors, organizations, unions, and corporate partners who want to be visibly connected to:
• Workforce development
• Educational empowerment
• Community impact
• Black youth career awareness initiatives
This is more than sponsorship.
It is an opportunity to help build a national pipeline into careers for future generations.
If you are a teacher, educator, school, union, or community organization interested in receiving sponsored copies for your students or community, please fill out this form: https://bit.ly/ctcc2027
If your organization is interested in participating, collaborating, or sponsoring, I would love to connect.

When I was growing up, we rarely learned about African greatness in school.
So I decided to create something for the next generation.
Afrotastic NEXT is a fun activity booklet that helps kids explore the achievements of African people around the world through puzzles, stories, and creative learning.
It was designed for young Black minds to see themselves as inventors, leaders, thinkers, and creators.
Perfect for:
• parents

• after-school programs
