Here are the cards we submitted! So the way it works for the Louie Awards Writer of the Year category, is to submit a body of work so the judges (in eight locations around the US) can get a feel for your writing in multiple iterations. The winner will be announced in July!

Greeting cards are a vehicle to express sentiment, and to articulate emotions and feelings. To be considered a finalist for the Writer of the Year is a huge compliment: the idea that we’re being recognized for voicing human emotions is such a tender thing—we’re so honoured and flattered.

The Louies have been hosted by the Greeting Card Association since 1988, and are named after Louis Prang, the lithographer credited with the birth of the U.S. Christmas card in the 1870s. See more !
