Busy Plastics company looking for someone to bring customers projects to life from start to finish! Individuals primary duties will be responsible for quoting customers, ensuring vector files are ready to run, processing invoices and payments, running the laser and CNC router machine. Secondary include assisting non laser/cnc customers, helping keep warehouse/work areas orderly, assisting coworkers in their duties to ensure all areas of the business run smoothly

- Previous experience running a Laser or CNC machine would be a big asset.
- Experience with CAD or similar software required.
- Fluency in English as well as strong writing skills required to interact with customers
- Prior sales or customer service experience would be an asset.
- Knowledge of plastics would be an asset.
- Ability to lift 50lb and move 4x8' sheets required
- Experience or willingness to learn to use table/panel saws and forklift
- General computer skills including emails, excel, QuickBooks (or other accounting systems)

Hours: 8:30 - 5:00 weekdays
Full time permanent position

We remain open during the lock down as support of materials to essential service providers. While we remain committed to serving everyone as best we can please be advised of the following:

- Effective immediately our showroom is closed to the public. Orders can be collected when ready however we will not take orders in person nor allow people to wait in our shop

- Saturday hours are canceled and weekdays closing will be at 5PM until further notice

- We are prioritizing orders we required to support essential service providers. Other orders may be delayed, some materials in high demand may be unavailable

- Any package goods (resin, glue, tools, accessories) are best ordered via our website Plasticworld.ca/store for quicker service and to allow our sales staff to facilitate other orders that our website cannot handle

- Cut to size orders must be placed by email to increase speed and accuracy we will not take measurements/delivery addresses over the phone
