The inaugural iDREAM Awards takes over Sankofa Square (formerly Dundas Square) tomorrow, August 23rd. A celebration of BIPOC excellence and an evening of live performances, inspiring stories, and $5 million in media grants awaits.

We'll be recognizing exceptional Black, Indigenous, and all People of Colour across five categories: Art, Entrepreneurship, Film, Music, and Sport.

Co-hosted by Jermain Franklin (TSN) and Kim Sullivan (APTN), it features performances by alt-pop-rock Indigenous artist Natasha Fisher. Rapper and producer Kardinal Offishall will also perform a DJ set as a part of the Sankofa Day celebration during the award ceremony.
