George Springer

A few days ago, I had one of those moments that reminds me why I do what I do.
I wasn’t on the field. There were no screaming crowds or walk-off homers, rather I was in a packed room full of families, kids with bright eyes and a whole lot of love in the air.

I got to hug the little ones and one young boy grinned at me like I’d hung the moon, and in that second, my heart felt fuller than after any big game. These kids don’t see a baseball player, rather they see someone who cares, someone who shows up for them💙

Being there wasn’t about me. It was about them. About letting them know they matter, that they’re seen and that someone believes in their dreams just as much as they do.

Days like this ground me. They remind me that the real wins in life aren’t measured in stats or trophies, they’re measured in the smiles we create, the hope we spark, and the love we share with the George Springer Foundation.

To every kid and family who came out: thank you for letting me be part of your day. You inspired me way more than I could ever inspire you. Let’s keep showing up for each other.

To every Blue Jays fan out there, I wanna say “THANK YOU” This season you carried us. You were the heartbeat under every pitch. You turned every game into a cathedral and every road trip into a crusade.

Thank you for making a kid from Connecticut feel like a king even in defeat. Thank you for teaching me that the loudest victories happen long before the final out.

This isn’t goodbye. It’s “see you at the plate”.
