Something simple, quick and elegant! This was a very last minute cake that I made for my brother started baking the cake layers at 12:00pm and was done decorating this cake by 3:00am so this entire cake took me 3hrs definitely the quickest I have taken to bake and decorate a cake! 🤗 have you ever had a last minute cake to make? If you did would love to know how long start to finish it took you to get it done 🤔

Now onto sharing some helpful tips since I know you guys love that!

TIPS:

✅ Whenever you are in a rush to quickly get a cake done never forget to let the cake chill completely before starting to assemble, those few minutes will save you so much time otherwise you will just end up with a crumbled mess!

✅ Never overfill your cake filling that can prevent you from an oozing mess on the side of your cake and adding a dam around the edge of your cake can prevent that

✅ Always remember to move your buttercream back and forth and against the side of your bowl to get smooth buttercream or you will end up with lots and lots of air bubbles all around your cake!
