With WakeUpNow and Vemma under fire and out of the picture, with time it becomes more and more apparent which companies are truly Multi-Level Network Marketing companies and which only claim to be. Make sure you do your home work before making a decision. Choosing the wrong company could lead to an unfortunate result down the line.

Federal Trade Commission Calls Vemma A Pyramid Scheme That Preys On Young Adults In a Wednesday complaint, the FTC called Vemma an "illegal pyramid scheme" and found the company focused on recruitment of distributors over bona fide retail sales, while also misleading distributors, mostly young adults, on their ability to earn income by selling its energy and nutrition drinks.
