📣 A little mid-week announcement

✨Invest in high quality images for your website!

High quality images on your site are important. They help to portray your message and are a great opportunity to invoke specific emotions that you would like your visitors to feel when interacting with your site. At a glance we want to be able to tell exactly what you do and imagery is a very easy way to achieve this.

Are you starting to prep visual content for your website?

Here are 3 tips to think about:

1️⃣ Showcase yourself doing what you do each day in your visuals - this allows your ideal client or customer to understand your services/ products before even reading what you are all about. So if you are a dancer, have visual images of you on stage or in action, working on your craft. If you are a teacher , showcase candid images of you teaching. If you make coffee… you probably guessed it... show yourself making coffee.. 😁😁

2️⃣ Invest in a good photographer or videographer to ensure your visual content is high quality. This helps with being seen as not only professional but highlights your authority and quality as a brand. It also just helps with the overall feel of your site. I always recommend for dancers and artists + for corporate. There are a ton of amazing photographers out there so finding someone that typically works with your niche and that you vibe with can add to the success plus make it FUN!

3️⃣ Having imagery that compliments your brand colours. For example, if your main brand colours are shades of Blue, choose imagery that highlight or compliments the blue tones - rather than choosing imagery that may clash or look out of place with those colours

Are you in the process of prepping content for your new site?

And so is your business…

Do you have a business plan in place? Business plans are like a blueprint for your business but they don’t always have to be as detailed and high level as you think… I worked with a company, a while back, where the CEO told me that his first business plan was written out on a serviette at a coffee shop.

So yeah business plans don’t always need to look like a 50 page document and don’t necessarily always need to be! However, it is important to still have some sort of business plan in place

Here are some steps to start with:

📝 Create a mission & vision statement for your business
📈 Do market research & interview your ideal clients to be able to best serve them
📑Create a budget & project $$
🔐 Understand how your business will be structured (service, product, subscription, membership etc)
📆 Create business goals & a timeline
👯‍♀️Reach out for support by either collaborating, finding a community, or working with a business coach or us

Here are a few reasons why you want to think when creating a plan for your business:

➡️ It helps map out the big-picture vision for your business/ idea
➡️ It will help make sure your legal and financial ducks are in a row (yay…)
➡️ It will help steer your business in the right direction and stay focused
➡️ It will remind you of your purpose

Your business plan can absolutely change as you grow, but taking the time to provide your business with a solid structure can help with understanding how your business will run.

This is your Wednesday reminder that your ‘rich life’ can look however you want it to. It isn't based on what we are taught or what we think it's “meant” to look like.

"If your ‘rich life’ is about buying fresh flowers every week because you can afford it, GREAT! If your ‘rich life’ is picking up your kids from school, or buying beautiful clothes, or picking up the tab at dinner...GREAT!" -

For me personally, my rich life is being able to go grab a coffee from my favourite coffee spot  every morning and making it a part of my morning ritual because it truly makes me happy. Once upon a time, I deprived myself of this simple (yet oh so satisfying✨) pleasure, because I thought it was the right thing to do to become financially stable...shockingly, I never actually got rich from doing that lol 😜.
I do, however, believe in being smart with your money but if you are aware and understand what a rich life truly represents for you, this can be quite powerful and freeing.  Depending on what it looks like to you, you might actually be surprised to see that you are richer than you thought...
unless your measurement of ‘richness’ is by having a Lamborghini and you still don't own one yet 👀 I mean, I do believe you'll get there if you truly want it.

Sooo tell us what does your rich life look like?

- Teagan ❤️

[📩 save this post if you are currently doing your website yourself]

From the day we’re born, we’re taught to follow orders. That’s why you will understand that definitive CTA phrases work better than others.

For instance, compare these two ‘call-to-action’ phrases:
1. Are You Ready to Subscribe?
2. Subscribe Now!

Which one catches your attention? The answer is the second one. That is because the phrase proves definitive and authoritative. It tells the reader exactly what to do 💁🏻‍♀️

A CTA or ‘Call To Action’ is an important factor when it comes to marketing. You want to drive people to your website and when they are on your site, you want to convert them. A way to help move your visitors down your sales funnel is to use clear ‘Call To Actions.’

Examples ‘Sign up for Free,’ ‘Book A Call Now’ or ‘Sign up here’. CTAs can also look like prompts on a social media post or in an email, like ‘double tap if you agree’ or ‘DM us for more info.’

So following up from videos on our stories from last week about CTAs, we want to share 3 tips for those who are building their own websites.

1️⃣ Make button large and attractive

Use bold colours, sharp edges, large & unique fonts, making your CTAs stand out from the rest of your content. Using your predominant brand colour, for example, will draw in your clients to interact with your CTA links/buttons more

2️⃣ Straight to the point & urgent

Short and crisp captions for your CTAs like “click here” or “learn more” will allow users to understand the purpose of the CTA without any confusion

3️⃣ Placement

Placing your CTAs in a location that is easily visibly and accessible to your users on your website will allow interacting and conversion more effortlessly

Q: Give us an example of a CTA prompt made you stop and interact? 👀

If you’d like to learn more or just need a second opinion about your CTAs, don’t hesitate to DM us with your questions ☺️
