I wish therapy and coaching was more financially accessible. Our mental health is truly as important as our physical.

Working with a therapist, coach, or reading those self-help books is nothing to be ashamed of. It’s actually really really awesome. Be proud of yourself. This work isn’t easy 💛

To anyone diving into something new and challenging...

I have made so many mistakes working on season two of my podcast.
Frustrating mistakes
Makes me want to quit mistakes

But then I remember that failing is a part of the process,
Its a part of learning

So I take a deep breath
And keep going.

If I can do it, you can do it.
You got this. Don’t give up.🤘

What’s the point?

This question used to haunt me.

When I hit burnout in my career, anything I wanted to create for myself or just for fun would bring that question to the forefront: “What’s the point?”

After spending so long bringing other people’s stories to life and supporting the vision of large productions, I lost my internal spark. Suddenly, creating for myself felt pointless and even “silly” because it wasn’t tied to money...

What I’ve learned since then is that joy, play, and creating art purely for ourselves is essential for longevity in a creative career.

Julia Cameron captured this beautifully:
“As artists, we must learn to be self-nourishing. We must become alert enough to consciously replenish our creative resources. In filling the well, think magic. Think delight, think fun. Do not think duty. Do not do what you should do—do what intrigues you, explore what interests you; think mystery, not mastery.”

Finding that spark again isn’t just for fun; it’s what keeps us thriving, creative, and passionate. Creating for yourself IS the point.

Happy Halloween everyone, I hope today you play.
