Don’t ignore grinding brakes!
There are many telltale signs that your brake pads are worn but the most glaring is a grinding noise every time you press the brake pedal.
This noise indicates that one or more of the brake pads have worn completely through their wear material. Leaving this for too long can result in the caliper seizing up or (in this case) can lead to the pad becoming so thin that it slips out of the bracket. The only thing stopping your car at that point is the caliper pistons which will not only destroy the caliper but can also lead to a brake fluid leak which will cause you to lose your brakes completely.
When in doubt, don’t ignore noises as they can very quickly turn into a safety issue.

These valves tend to stick quite often on turbocharger equipped vehicles. This can lead to a loss of driving power so it’s important to have the repair completed if your vehicle is experiencing this issue.
