Did you know? 💰You need to meet a median wage to be eligible for OINP.🇨🇦
When applying to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program, your job
offer must meet the median wage for your NOC occupation and Ontario
region, and this is one requirement many applicants overlook.
You can verify your wage in minutes at jobbank.gc.ca. Search your
NOC code, select your Ontario region, and check the median wage
listed. Your offer must meet or exceed that number.
⚠️ There are exceptions.
Recent Ontario graduates applying under
TEER 0–3 only need to meet the low wage level, a lower threshold.
If you're already working for your OINP employer, your new offer
cannot be lower than what you currently earn.
And if no median data exists for your NOC, OINP falls back to historical or
national Job Bank data.
Swipe through to understand the full wage requirement and find
out where your salary stands.
