Garson Immigration Law
Canada’s new citizenship law has officially changed the game for anyone with Canadian heritage.
If you were born before December 2025 and have Canadian roots, even generations back, you may now be eligible for citizenship. This opens up an incredible opportunity for a massive number of people, particularly in the US.
The key to a successful application is a robust paper trail. You will need to gather comprehensive historical documentation, including census records, provincial archives, and vital statistics certificates, to prove your lineage.
Because IRCC is in the early stages of adjudicating these claims, there is very little downside to applying. A refusal will not impact your current status or your ability to travel to Canada.
If you have Canadian ancestors, exploring this path is a low-risk move with significant potential benefits.
