I’m proud to share that I’ve received a certificate for attending the EPA’s Research Webinar on “Clean Water Access During Emergencies,” held on July 10, 2024. This webinar provided crucial insights into UV-C water disaster relief technologies, especially considering recent events in the Greater Toronto Area and Montreal, Canada, where Canadians experienced two significant floods, prompting the Canadian federal government to issue boil water advisories.

Teaming up with Cerrozone not only aligns perfectly with Covspect's mission to create safer indoor spaces but also opens up a world of possibilities for both our teams and, more importantly, our valued customers.

CerroZone’s revolutionary, mobile air purification units are certified by the FDA as a 510(k) Class II medical device that pulls air into the unit and subjects it to a series of ultraviolet light sources, which convert the oxygen (O2) in the air into ozone (O3). The newly created ozone destroys any microorganisms in the air and is then forced through a proprietary catalyst that converts the ozone back into oxygen, which is then reintroduced into the room as clean, fresh air. Virtually no ozone escapes the unit. In fact, testing proves that ozone levels leaving the unit are lower than levels in the ambient room air.

In July of 2023, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), published its pioneering consensus-based, code-enforceable Standard 241, Control of Infectious Aerosols. Developed to reduce the risk of infectious aerosol transmission in buildings, Standard 241 establishes minimum requirements to reduce transmission risk of airborne viruses such as SARS-COV-2, the flu virus and other pathogens.

CerroZone technology meets or exceeds all criteria in standard 241, as outlined in the list below:
