1333 Bloor St Applewood Place and 1300 Bloor St Applewood Landmark Condo Apartments Drone Tour Ronald P**n Real Estate

I made this drone tour to give a better look at two well-known condo buildings in Mississauga’s Applewood area: 1333 Bloor St — Applewood Place and 1300 Bloor St — Applewood Landmark.

These are not the typical small downtown-style condo units. One of the main reasons buyers still look at these older Mississauga buildings is space. Many of the units here are much larger than what you usually get in newer condo buildings, and the layouts often feel more practical for real day-to-day living.

1300 Bloor St — Applewood Landmark
Applewood Landmark was built in the late 1970s by Shipp Corporation and is known as one of the more established condo communities in Applewood. It is around 26 storeys with roughly 299 units, and many suites are noticeably larger than newer condos.

The building also has a strong reputation because it was recognized as a Condo of the Year winner by the Canadian Condominium Institute Toronto. That does not automatically mean every unit is perfect, but it does suggest the building has had a history of strong community management and pride of ownership.

This building may be a good fit for buyers who want:

Large condo living without buying a house
A mature building with established amenities
More space for downsizers, families, or work-from-home buyers
A location that is still close to shopping, transit, parks, and major roads

The trade-off is that older buildings can come with higher maintenance fees, older finishes depending on the unit, and more things to review carefully, such as the status certificate, reserve fund, building updates, and future repair plans.

1333 Bloor St — Applewood Place
Applewood Place is another Shipp-built condo building in the area. It is commonly listed as a 1990s-completed / reconstructed building, with around 25 storeys and over 400 units. The suites are also generally larger than newer condo apartments, with a good mix of layouts.

This building may appeal to buyers who want:

More interior space for the money
A quieter, more residential Mississauga setting
