According to the CDC, it is recommended for adults aged 65+ to perform moderate-intensity aerobic exercises for at least 150 minutes a week. Examples of exercises of this type include briskly walking or biking with minimum hills. It is also recommended to perform muscle-strengthening exercises twice or more a week, along with balancing exercises three days a week for optimal health benefits.
