Why is the winter months a better time for ombré brows healing?

Before answering that question, we should consider the criteria for the healing process.

As part of the aftercare instructions, for 14 days after the ombré brows procedure, you are to avoid getting your eyebrows wet for long, which includes no swimming, steam/sauna, or excessive sweating, as this will disrupt the scabbing process. Another part of aftercare is to avoid sun exposure since the UV rays could alter the colour and cause premature fading.

During the winter months: the UV index is lower, we are indoors more, the humidity is lower, and the weather is cooler. The lower humidity and cooler weather mean less chance of sweating. The lower UV index and indoors reduce the chances of UV exposure. Even though the UV index is lower in the winter, we should still be cautious that UV rays could be higher at high altitudes or outdoors, for instance, in skiing and snow reflection, respectively.

Of course, there are other criteria you need to follow as part of the aftercare instructions, but above are some examples that could affect the healing process.
