have you ever wanted to pursue something so bad, like painfully bad, that even though the odds of it working were basically shot to hell you go for it anyways cuz the fear of not going after it shakes you scared way more than the fear of it not working out? that’s what Horses is. long distance is beautiful and painful. it’s a ragbag of the joy of finding your person, your belonging, and the pain of feeling their absence all the time. it’s raw longing and hope and frustration.
