Serenity and sunshine. At least we have one of these today. 😉

One of my favourite sight lines in the house, framed by arches. An eclectic mix of furnishings and art that all “speak” to one another.

Morning perch ☕️ Some people mediate, I like to bask in sunlight, even if it’s cloudy and indirect. This is where I draw my energy and set my intentions for the day. When designing this rear addition, placement of windows and doors was carefully considered to maximize the light and create sight lines to the natural environment outside. The one window behind the chair is frosted to avoid window coverings while maintaining privacy (it looks directly into our neighbour’s house). In our next house, I’ll be chasing the light again. 💫
