There have been so many ups and downs these past few years: became a father, lost my mother, growing the Hubman and Chubgirl business beyond my wildest dreams, struggles with IVF to extend the family…

Despite everything going on I’m happy to have spent 2 amazing years with Lincoln. We made a commitment to always be present in his life: to not let the business get in the way of taking him to the park in the mornings before work, or on a random trip to the cottage or Disneyland. And in return he has brightened our lives, and showed us what is truly important in life.

Losing a mother has warped my reality: I saw the most influential person who loved me more than anyone else leave me forever very suddenly.

Trying to summon the strength to walk down the hospital hall knowing I’m about to have the last conversation with my mom put life in perspective: I always tell myself to not let the small things bother you.. be thankful your wife, son, and you are healthy and here today. Be thankful that technology will help grow your family. Be thankful you have a great group of family and friends, be thankful that your passion is your career.

Be thankful for the 2 years, and every single minute beyond that I get to spend with Lincoln. Time is a luxury and I won’t fool myself into thinking I’m guaranteed another minute, I will give him and my family my all - every single day.

Happy birthday buddy ❤️

Wow THANK YOU for sharing all your long distance stories, we had no idea so many people are going through what we had to go through years ago!
Here is a pic of when I visited Chubgirl for XMAS during our time apart!
We've been spending hours reading the many comments and DMs from people about their rough times apart, and we feel your pain 😭 There is a good ending to our long distance after so much loneliness, so I hope if any of you are going through the same thing will know that it'll be worth it one-day! Our love for one another kept us going...
In the upcoming .chubgirl comics we will talk more about how we dealt with long D, and more emotions we had to go through. Keep sending us your stories, although it's impossible for us to reply to all of them, we take the effort to read them all. Good luck to all of you, and stay strong 💪
Also posted some more amazing fan art ♥️ thanks for everything ♥️

There's only one thing in this world I love just as much as Chubgirl - and that's the 🇨🇦 I would follow their seasons religiously and would cry as a kid when they got eliminated. They may not have won a cup since 1967 but I'll always root for them. I wouldn't ever consider my life complete until they win a championship.
Being a bit older now I can appreciate being able to stay interested in things. The Leafs are one of the few things I would cancel and drop anything to give time to. Thanks for understanding and cheering them on with me.
Go Leafs Go!!!! 💙💙💙💙
