Enough with the teasers… “🚨 New Watch Acquisition” time!!

Just introduced at Watches and Wonders last month, the brand-new Tudor Monarch. Since it’s not officially the “100-Year Anniversary” watch, let’s just call it “The Purely Coincidental 100-Year Anniversary Watch.”

What I love most about it is that it’s the most “un-Tudor” Tudor I’ve ever seen. I freaking love it.

Time for a proper “🚨New Watch Alert” post! Introducing The Cartier Santos de Cartier in Titanium!

I’ve been eye hu***ng this one for months but reserved my final buying decision for when I could see it in person. The moment I laid eyes on it, I knew I was getting it.

Now, I love shiny things…but I never connected with my precious Cartier Santos’, due to the highly polished bezel and stainless steel bracelet. In photos, it may not seem all that different. But trust me, it’s noticeable in person. I love the light weight and darker colour tone of titanium. The all round bead blasted finish (yes even on the bezel) isn’t scratch proof, but at least I won’t scratch it just by looking at it anymore!

I rotate watches more frequently than I change underwear, never having had a true daily watch. This one might be it. Serious horology, understated wrist presence but IYKYK. Ok, that’s enough do**he baggery for a day.
