Sasha was a singer / songwriter at the time, so we had a good flow going back and forth with ideas on how to progress a beat I started

we actually ended up using the original vocal she recorded on her iPhone ! (Or was it a blackberry back then)

the end result was ‘Talk On’ and it was later released on Hot Creations … you can hear it playing on this post

fast forward to 2024, and we’re back at it again but this time on a beat making collab bonanza.

This time, Sasha and I came together to make two cuts for our new EP coming this friday on Rafa Barrios’ Bandidos label

recording the 505 all day

i been numb for the last few hours after finding out that Joee Cons has passed on

he was such a great nice guy. ive known him more than 20 years and i dont think i once saw him annoyed, mad or anything that wasnt a good vibe

life is precious.
just like that he’s gone 💔

he was always so quick to say something nice or make you feel good.
the world needs more people like him

never mind how great of a DJ he was. we all loved him and partied to his music one time or another

one time i was playing this track at CZ and he came in … he was playing after me.
and he just gave me so much love and complimented me cuz he liked the vibe on the dancefloor and wanted to know what this record was.
i gave him a copy right there cuz luckily i had 2.

he told me “you got the groove”

it meant alot to me that day to get love from a pier that i had alot of respect for.
it was a big moment for me.
Joee gave me that and I’ll never forget it

this track will always make me think of him.

rest in peace you will be sorely missed
