Missed a banger of a trade yesterday on GN due to some personal reasons. Nonetheless, when you can understand high quality trades and the components that happen again and again, itâs the most rewarding part of trading. Figured I would do a little breakdown for those of you that were watching it.

Two trades for myself on EU last week. I absolute love this kind of combo where you can correctly scale in and not compromise risk. I was juuusttt tagged out for +1% on this position before it dropped for a combine running of c9%.
Itâs such a powerful play because you donât need big moves in the market for you to achieve a double digit return in that situation. Sometimes the luck of the draw it doesnât play out in your favour. But if you even catch one of these a quarter, how much does that change your percentage gain on the annual.
The better you get at trading, the more you understand risk management principals. When you understand that, you get a better sense of when to be aggressive and to milk the market more effectively.
Trading is such a beautiful game. đđ
One of the questions I received most often is âHow long until I can make money from trading?â If thatâs the main perspective, youâve already lost.
Donât get me wrong, I totally understand why everyone would ask that question. But the problem is that itâs approaching this as a side hustle. Side hustles are meant to be just that. On the side. Whereas, trading is the most competitive arena in the world. At any point in time youâre against the best traders, institutions and funds.
A big part of this journey is living long enough to see success. That means literally showing up every single day and doing what you need to do. Make sure youâre remaining teachable but also with an aggressive confidence of backing yourself. Day after day, month after month and youâll find the results start pouring in. But if you get in your own way, youâll realize why many people donât make it in this journey.
I havenât missed a day in 7+ years no matter what life has thrown at me and I continue to show up daily. Itâs the only way to guarantee youâll move forward no matter what.
Trading for a bit over 8 years and you realize that you are always a student. Even though mistakes are a lot less frequent now you realize there are better ways to take something. Whether thatâs a better stop loss, better entry or better management. Sometimes itâs even recognizing entries you wouldnât have considered before.
Trading is such a beautiful game and it rewards those that stick the path.
The fact you can trade from anywhere really is the best part đ
Youâre not tied down to anywhere in particular. You can just pick up your phone and your laptop and go.
Donât get me wrong⌠my best trading happens when Iâm in my normal routine.
But you gotta admit, trading and traveling just never stops being cool.
Been trading for about 8 years now and watchlist creation still remains one of my favourite âtrading workâ.
You look back at the previous week, see what you could have done better while also spotting opportunities for the week ahead. I would say thatâs one of the cooler parts of the job.
Knowing that every week has the ability to be life changing if you can show up correctly. Week after week, mistake after mistake, thereâs still always more to learn.
