This led us to ‘the red birds’, ‘the dancing reeds’ and to ‘where red dust rises off the elephant’s feet’. None of which my cowriter North and I had ever experienced. This shows perfectly how having the Artist share their perspective and heart in these sessions creates a perfect climate and personal connection for the song to truly resonate. ⁠
