Idhayam Muthu Annachi – A Great Soul Who Led with Heart

It is with deep sorrow that I share the sad news of the passing of Idhayam Muthu Annachi, Chairman of Idhayam Gingelly Oil.

I had the privilege of connecting with him through Professor Jayanthasri Balakrishnan in 2024. When I shared my vision and plans for the development of my homeland, he immediately offered his knowledge, experience, and kindness without hesitation.

He strongly supported several initiatives including Puthiya Velicham entrepreneurship training, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), teacher training programs, and skill development programs for students. At our invitation, he visited our homeland twice and inspired many through his guidance and encouragement.

Beyond being a successful entrepreneur who built the “IDHAYAM” brand into a globally recognized symbol of quality, he was also a compassionate humanitarian who touched countless lives through social service, education, and Rotary initiatives.

People like him are rare in this world.
His humility, service, and humanity will continue to inspire us.

May his soul rest in peace.
