I love this chapel 💒. The murals, the light, high ceiling. It’s intimate somehow, and it feels like stepping into somewhere else entirely.

My favourite sessions are the ones that don’t feel like sessions. With Bryan and Ruza it was coffee first, then a tour of their instruments, then a private concert in their living room while their dog wandered around. The camera was always there, running alongside all of it. We got creative, played around, and that is kind of the whole point. When people feel at ease, something honest comes through, and that is what I am always after. Their son has since arrived, and I think about this afternoon often.
