⭐ FOUNDER STATEMENT — RICHIE BURGHER

Soul e Sabor came out of a turning point in my life. After eight years in a career where I gave a lot of myself, I reached a point where I didn’t feel valued or seen anymore. The pace, the pressure, and the constant uncertainty made it clear that I needed something different — something that supported my wellbeing instead of draining it.

At the same time, the past year pushed me to slow down and really look at my life. Going through health challenges and treatment made me rethink what I wanted my future to feel like. It made me choose myself in a way I hadn’t before. I knew I needed a lifestyle that was more intentional, more grounded, and more aligned with who I was becoming.

Portugal played a big part in that shift. When I visited in 2023, spiritually something clicked. The culture, the people, the rhythm of life — it felt like home in a way I couldn’t ignore. I always knew I’d end up in Portugal one day. I just didn’t expect the timing to come so quickly. God had a plan and a purpose, and once it settled in my heart, I couldn’t shake it.

I’ve always had a passion for creating experiences. I ran an event‑planning business before, but over time I outgrew what it was. My vision changed. My life changed. So I rebranded, rebuilt, and reshaped that business into something that reflects who I am now — and the kind of life I want to live. That’s how Soul e Sabor was born.

Everything I create through Soul e Sabor — whether it’s a wellness retreat, an intimate elopement, a bespoke event, or a curated cultural experience — comes from that same place of intention and care. The Savor Soul Style is my way of blending culture, hospitality, and meaningful connection into experiences that feel real and personal.

This isn’t just a business. It’s a new chapter and a new pace of living. And I’m proud to share it with others who are looking for the same sense of clarity and connection.
