While vaccination will no longer be a requirement to board a plane, train or vessel (not including cruise ships) within Canada as of June 20, all travellers entering Canada must continue to follow all entry requirements.

Unless exempt, all travellers eligible to enter Canada who do not qualify as fully vaccinated must: provide a valid pre-entry test result, be tested with COVID-19 molecular tests on arrival and Day 8 and quarantine for 14 days.

All travellers entering Canada continue to be required to input their mandatory information in ArriveCAN within 72 hours before their arrival in Canada. If not, they may be fined up to $5K, have to test on arrival and quarantine for 14 days.

The Government of Canada will continue to work closely with provinces and territories to ensure everyone eligible can get boosted and keep their vaccinations up–to-date, as it is the best way to maintain the highest levels of protection against COVID-19.
