Celebrating 250 years is a remarkable milestone, and we were honoured to join the community of Île-à-la-Crosse in marking this historic occasion.
From boat tours and traditional leather mitt-making to medicine demonstrations, square dancing, music, yoga on the beach, fresh lii bang, and shared meals, the festivities offered opportunities to connect with the people, culture, and history that make Île-à-la-Crosse such a special place.
Congratulations to the community of Île-à-la-Crosse on this significant anniversary, and thank you for welcoming Denison to be part of the celebration.

Recently, Denison’s summer interns attended the Saskatchewan First Nations Energy & Natural Resources Youth Summit.
Our students connected with Indigenous youth from across the province and shared insights into possible career paths in the mining sector.
The summit included a session on AI-focused challenges, a youth tradeshow, and an Energy 101 presentation delivered by Denison’s Metallurgy Intern, Olivia Maurice.
Olivia’s presentation highlighted the importance of the many renewable and non-renewable resources found in Saskatchewan and was attended by ~ 250 youth delegates.

We're proud to share that Denison has interests in two of the world's top-ranked uranium and other metals development projects - Phoenix and Midwest - as evaluated by the Mining Journal.
Phoenix represents a significant milestone for Canada's uranium sector as the first uranium mine approved for in-situ recovery (ISR) mining and the first large-scale Canadian uranium mine approved for construction in more than 20 years.
Phoenix is a nation building project that reflects Canadian innovation, determination, and leadership in sustainable resource development, with the potential to play an important role in supporting the global growth of nuclear energy.
Midwest is a high-potential development project being evaluated by the Midwest Joint Venture (25.1% Denison-owned) using the SABRE mining method, and was studied by Denison for potential deployment of ISR mining.
Join us for the Mining Journal's upcoming webinar where Denison discusses these projects and our progress at Phoenix.

Each year, our team looks forward to attending the Elders Gathering in Pinehouse, a community known for its warmth and hospitality. The event offers a meaningful opportunity to connect, participate in activities, and learn from one another. From joining in community events like the Denison Relay, to learning beading, playing bingo, and sharing conversation over coffee, every moment is memorable.
We are always grateful for the kindness and generosity extended to us, and we leave each visit feeling both welcomed and well cared for.
Thank you to Pinehouse and Kineepik Métis Local #9 for hosting such a special gathering. We look forward to returning again.
