TNL is saddened to have lost one of our originals this past week. Bob Gibson was a TNL legend. A mainstay in the tenor section, and one of the drivers of the spirit and culture of the chorus. His resume is beyond impressive:
4x District Quartet Champion
1x District Seniors Quartet Champion
2x International Seniors Champion
3x International Chorus Champion
Plus countless other top five finishes with the Dukes of Harmony and TNL.
He is also was involved in a revolutionary approach to performance that was introduced in the early 2000s (when TNL was having a little fun behind the scenes at International).
We'll miss you Bobby. We'll raise the chalice in your honour.
Lullabye (2/2) by Billy Joel. Difficult song to get through without breaking for many of us on the risers but it remains one of our favourites to sing.
Performed at our June 13, 2026 concert: There's No Place Like Home.
