We’re thrilled to announce that the next Canada FASD Conference will be held in Edmonton, Alberta, from November 16th to 18th, 2027!

We can’t wait to build on the momentum from Toronto and to gather again to celebrate progress, share insights, and continue moving this vital work forward.

One of the most inspiring moments of the conference? The Canada FASD Conference Film Festival!

This powerful showcase celebrated creativity, resilience, and the diverse lived experiences of individuals and families affected by FASD.

A huge congratulations to our Film Festival winner - “FASD & My Search for Compassion” by FASD United!

And a big shoutout to our incredible runners-up - Eddie Bunkowsky, FASD-Can, Reinier deSmit, and Melissa Dobson.

Our final keynote was Navigating Self-Care and Recovery with the Pinkifying of Alcohol Marketing.

Internationally recognized researchers and women’s health advocates examined how the alcohol industry has “pinkified” its products, targeting women, and how women are responding - sometimes rejecting these tactics altogether through movements toward low- or no-alcohol use and sobriety.

This session sparked important conversations about health, empowerment, and reclaiming choice in the face of marketing pressures.
