Excuuuuse me, you look like you might love Brayan!
Our sweet angel boy has been waiting in foster care for a year and a half 💔 and we’re hoping his forever family is finally out there. Please share to help him find them!! ❤️
At 4–5 years old and 88 lbs, Brayan is the definition of a gentle giant. A lab mix rescued from a highway in Mexico after jumping into a stranger’s car for safety, he eventually made his way to Canada in 2024. Since then, he’s proven himself to be an incredibly loving, loyal, and easygoing companion.
✔️ House trained
✔️ Calm and non-destructive when left alone
✔️ Loves people, belly rubs, and holding paws
✔️ Good with calm dogs (with slow introductions)
✔️ Low-medium energy and happy with a couple of daily walks
Brayan doesn’t ask for much—just a loving home, a comfy couch, and people to adore.
📍Available for adoption in Vancouver & Ontario
💲Reduced adoption fee

Happy Birthday to our incredible Rescue Director, Kylie! 🎉🐾 From day one, Kylie has been one of the true backbones of Sea Paws Rescue, and we honestly don’t know what we would do without her. Over the last 6 years, she has grown alongside SPR every step of the way! Starting as a transport volunteer, then becoming an adoption coordinator, rescue manager, and now our amazing Rescue Director. 💛
Her dedication, compassion, leadership, and love for every single dog that comes through our doors is something truly special. Our volunteers, adopters, fosters, and most importantly our dogs, are so lucky to have her in their corner every single day.
Thank you for everything you do for SPR and for always being a voice for the voiceless. We are endlessly grateful for you 🩵🐶✨
Please help us wish Kylie the happiest birthday ever by leaving your birthday messages and love for her in the comments below! 🎂👇

🚨FOSTER URGENTLY NEEDED!🚨
Our lovely girl Loui is in need of a new foster home by May 16 at the latest.
Loui hails all the way from Bali, Indonesia! She’s estimated to be 1–2 years old and is described as playful, active, and incredibly loving. Loui adores people, gets along with dogs and cats, sleeps through the night in her dog bed, loves to cuddle, and is about 90% potty trained.
Ideal home would be a house with a yard, and not a condo as she is still working on her “inside voice” 🥰
Can you foster Loui? Please share and reach out to [email protected] if she sounds like a good fit.

Looking for a temporary foster sitter in BC for this sweet boy Brayan, from May 15-18! OR even better, a permanent forever home ☺️☺️
🐶 ABOUT BRAYAN
Approx 4 years old. low-medium energy - a couple of good walks and he’s content to snooze the rest of the day. He’s not much of a runner or wild player, but will have the occasional toy zoomie or trot around with his foster sister when the mood strikes.
At home, Brayan is an absolute dream:
- Fully house trained
- Non-destructive when left alone (no crate needed)
- Calm, patient, couch-loving boy
Brayan is super friendly with people and other dogs, he does so well indoors and in calm environments. When on walks, though, he can be reactive towards other dogs. He needs a strong leader who is willing to put in boundaries and work on positive reinforcement to help him feel more at ease on walks.
If you or someone you know can help, comment below ⬇️ or email [email protected] 💌
Please share with any BC friends! 🙏

🚨 FOSTER HOMES NEEDED 🚨
Sea Paws Rescue is a foster-based rescue, which means without foster homes, we simply cannot save lives.
Right now, we are on an intake hold because we don’t have enough foster homes to safely place the dogs already in our care. This is something no rescue ever wants to say. It means dogs in need are waiting… and we can’t say yes. As a rescue, we are struggling. We are doing everything we can to keep our mission alive, but the reality is: without reliable foster homes, we cannot function!
We currently have 3 animals who urgently need placement:
• Otis the cat (needs a new foster by end of May can be the only can in the home due to FIV)
• Barolo - puppy
• Loui - (will be in board & train needs new foster home by May 16)
Fostering saves lives. It creates space. It gives these dogs a chance. If you’ve ever considered fostering, now is the time!
