After a nearly 10-year hiatus, the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is coming back for 2027 and for the first time, it’s taking a mid-engine form.

“For its part, the Trailseeker has been designed and engineered with the most EV range impossible in mind. That makes for better occupant comfort – and this wagon-slash-crossover is about people moving – as well as better EV driving range, which Subaru claims to 444 kilometres, no matter the spec.”

“Toyota has three- count ‘em, three! – new battery electric vehicles (BEVs) arriving in 2026 – well, two-and-a-half, really, as the bZ is something we’ve seen before but has been heavily redesigned for this year. Either way; it’s an interesting tack for a manufacturer that has been somewhat steadfast in its preference for developing hybrids over BEVs or EVs over the year.”

“Come 2027, aspiring Bronco owners (or even current Bronco owners; by most accounts, there’s quite a lot of brand loyalty here) will be able to choose the Bronco RTR. Tuned by Vaughn Gittin Jr’s team over at RTR (“Ready to Rock!”) Vehicles, the Bronco RTR gets uprated suspension, wheels, bumpers and graphics to achieve a sort of “Bronco-lite” effect.”

The floor at the Canadian International Auto Show delivered this week 🔥
From electrified ambition to unapologetic horsepower, the spectrum was wide, and wildly compelling.
The 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X didn’t whisper. It made a statement.
Cadillac’s F1 presence signals a bold new chapter as the brand steps onto the global motorsport stage.
Audi’s F1 vision? Precision. Purpose. Intent.
Then there was contrast.
The Mini Deus Ex Machina brought attitude and culture into the conversation.
The Polestar 4 Arctic Circle Edition proved that performance and sustainability don’t have to compete —
they can coexist.
BMW’s all-new iX3 hints at where the next generation of electric driving is headed.
And the Cadillac Celestiq? Hand-built, unapologetic, and redefining American ultra-luxury.
From track dreams to Arctic experiments to bespoke craftsmanship, the future of mobility is anything
but boring.
More to come.

A little something warm for the wrist during the cold and grey Canadian winters, the Conquest Chrono 42mm!
A lot of history to have on wrist for a very attractive price point coming in just shy of the $5,000 CDN mark, rocking a 59 hour power reserve thanks to the L898 movement that is on display thanks to the open caseback that any watch enthusiast is always a fan of, just like being able to open the hood of a car and see the engine!
Also perfect for daily winter wear, was the optional rubber strap this came on, for comfort and not getting nearly as cold on wrist as the stainless steel alternative. Also to mention the black rubber contrasts the ceramic bezel quite well!
