"Education is what got us into this mess, and education is key to getting us out of it," stated The Honourable Murray Sinclair, a former chair of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada. We need to put our own education first.
Long after we hang up our orange t-shirts for the day, indigenous peoples will still be dealing with the psychological and intergenerational trauma caused by residential schools. Let's resolve to keep working toward reconciliation for the entire year—let's not stop today.

In today’s diverse workplaces, it’s essential to recognize and support the unique needs of neurodivergent individuals. One crucial aspect of this support is understanding the importance of peace and privacy in fostering an effective work environment.
Neurodivergent staff may require additional time and space to adjust and manage their workflows. Accommodations include offering extra breaks throughout the day to help them recharge or creating quiet areas free from distractions and noise. These accommodations aren’t just about comfort—they’re about empowering every team member to perform at their best and contribute meaningfully.
By embracing these practices, we can create a more inclusive and supportive workplace where everyone thrives. Minor adjustments can make a significant difference in helping neurodivergent employees feel valued and engaged.
Let’s work together to build environments that respect and celebrate neurodiversity. 🌟
